Okay, folks, the Nationwide Tour season is back in full swing, so here's the 2009 Parshooter Thread. The same rules apply as in previous years: Our theoretical player, Mr. Par, is given a fully exempt Nationwide Tour card through a "Deus ex Machina" moment. He then plays every full field tour event. He shoots exactly par in each and every round of every tournament, and after every tournament I post how he did that week, and his standing on the money list at that point. Comments, questions, and criticisms are always welcome. This and all other Parshooter threads are dedicated to the memory of Hogan Radial.

Covered expenses and got a little pocket change.......

I just checked air fares from several US cities where a pro might live (Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Orlando, Miami) to Panama City Panama. Miami was cheapest at $255 R/T; Phoenix was $701. So even after hotel, looper, taxes, etc he did okay. I'll check the fares for the Aussie / New Zealand swing; I assume they will be fairly steep.

But they have a couple chances to score down under

I spent a little time piddling on a travel web site. A Nationwide player would spend about $1500 on airfare to fly from Los Angeles to Melbourne to Christchurch, and then the reverse of that route. I told it to search more than a month in advance, in order to get the 'best' fares, and I assume that the prices for March would be the same as for April.

Wow,,,, he better do good in the tourney in that case,,,,,,,,,,
