Tuesday evening update. Scott Parshooter had a nice week in Memphis. He's at home watching the US Open, and is #143 on the money list.

Suprising that the qualifying courses are so much easier than the open course. Seems like they should match the difficulty better to get a truer qualifying test. I see several Am's made it in too.

Tuesday evening update. Scott Parshooter had a nice relaxing week off, and is now 143rd on the money list.

I'm not familiar with any of the courses where second stage was held. Maybe the local courses weren't willing to screw up their courses to the USGA's standards. Some of it might also be weather related - the bitter winter we had might have kept some places from growing their rough as high as the blue coats would like.
