Okay, folks, the PGA Tour season is back in full swing, so here's the 2012 Parshooter Thread. The same rules apply as in previous years: Our theoretical player, Scott Parshooter, is given a fully exempt Tour card through a "Deus ex Machina" moment. He then plays every full field tour event, but he does not qualify for the Majors or for the World Golf Championships. He shoots exactly par in each and every round of every tournament, and after every tournament I post how he did that week, and his standing on the money list at that point. FedEx points are added to the mix; World Golf Ranking points are not. Comments, questions, and criticisms are always welcome. This and all other Parshooter threads are dedicated to the memory of Hogan Radial.

Thursday update. Senor Par missed the cut again, and is still in last place on the money list.

Wednesday night update. Senor Par cashed a nice check in a limited field event. He heads to the desert in 34th place on the Order of Merit.

Did he get an appearance fee already?

Tuesday night update. Senor Par started his desert swing on the right side of the cut line, and is now 123rd on the Order of Merit. And thanks to BadgerH on GEA for pointing out my error last week.

Tuesday evening update. Senor Par's desert swing earned him a little more cash. He's now 126th on the Order of Merit.

Tuesday afternoon update. Senor Par missed the cut in Dubai. He's booked on a passage to India at #140 on the Order of Merit.

Tuesday night update. Senor Par's stop in India did a little to help his wallet. He's 124th on the Order of Merit, and he's flying back to Europe to practice because he has a couple of weeks off.

Tuesday afternoon update. Senor Par spent the week watching the match play. His year to date earnings convert as US $25.097 .
