On the telecast at Doral they pointed out that Tiger has not had an eagle since the 4th round(15th hole) of the Master's last year on the PGA tour. That is amazing and the most telling stat on why he has not won. WOW

With the title, wasn't sure if it related to his golf game or social life;-)

I heard that too......amazing stat when you think how far he hits the ball. You would think he would have rolled something in a par five. I'm trying to think........( i know , don't say it...:0) ) my last eagle must have been a hole in one i had at a really good golf course out in western Colorado. I can't remember when that was....five , six years or so......i think ???? I don't hit par fives in two anymore , unless they are playing downhill , downwind , and short ; so eagles are hard to come by. Tiger needs to get away from his "teachers." They are ruining his natural greatness. Kind of like the local art teacher advising Michelangelo. Let that thing loose and play golf Tiger !!!! Get it in the zone and forget about swing positions. Play with that genious again. Maybe at Augusta this year. What do you guys think ? Too much swing bullshit for cryin out loud !

At least science teachers are needed to get the basics down. Tiger does seem to be getting closer, Arnie's outing that he has doen fairly well at will be real telling. If he pulls that one off, then he should be favored at the Masters.

I have no real problem with him and his swing that is getting closer. I believe he will be #1 in GIR's in no time. It's the tinkering with putting and the putter that has me concerned.

Must have been in the story about his new digs that said he was devoting more time to his short game. Guess that would include putting.

My son-in-law is a science teacher......when he's not dispensing left-wing socialist ideas ! :0)
Just kidding.......not really........lousy commie ! :0)
I take it YOU are a science teacher Hips ? I had some great science teachers. I almost learnt somethin. Funny ; my interest in science is much more keen now , then when i was in school. So many facinating subjects in that arena. Oh yeah ...we're talking Tiger. He's bound to get hot and win something......or not. That's what is so facinating..... the possibility he might not win again.........as remote as that seems. Playing golf at that level and the incessant "tinkering" with swing. Hiding in that process. Using it as a tool to ward off the golf media. The world of golf waiting for the near perfect golf creature to come back to life. He can't be questioning his putting stroke.....can he ??? He's now missing left. Is that better than missing right ? (Hardly.....i can vouch for that.) He's wandering in and out of equillibrium , as he searches for that perfect melding of mind and body that seemed like his birthright. He will almost certainly win the Masters this year. His body taking on that confident bearing and his putts rolling true , as he tours the hallowed grounds of previous glory. It HAS to happen.....does it not ? The real question is ......WILL YOU HAVE HIM ON YOUR FANTASY TEAM FOR THE MASTERS ? Now that's a toughie. :0)

Yep, a real science guy! Was told I don't teach, I have captive playmates in class. With my understanding of physics, it makes golf even more frustrating!. Read that TW has a new gf, a 22 yr old blond. Daughter of someone in the golf business. You would think he would know better. So maybe that will get him on track. Better question is do you play him this week where he has won 6 times?

I'm thinking bench Tiger until he wins. Wait... I said that last year also, then why have I selected him countless times since I said that.

Best teacher i ever had was in highschool physics. Unfortunately , i can't remember his name right now , but i can picture him with the bow tie , wispy hair a bit askew , and chaulk all over his pants. He had a very dry wit and , for some unknown reason , took pity on me as i came into his first period class fashionably late time after time. He used to call me the "part-time" student because i missed so much school. He could teach ANYONE physics. He had a way of making it interesting and used humor to keep students engaged. Amazing guy.....the best teacher in that school by far.
I'll bet you're that kind of teacher Hips. Good to know you're out there. Tiger and his blondes. He needs a giant wife like Obama's to keep him in line. :0)
Don't know....lots of trouble to the left at Bay Hill. He's bound to come alive somewhere. This might be the week. How bout the two million guys in C division to pick from........jaysus.
