Good reason to give in and take a cart  Have seen many deer and elk on courses here but have never been threatened by them. They sure can mess up a green when the prance across it though :x

Yeah...they have to cordon off the greens at times up there. Estes Park G.C. in Estes Park , Colorado.
Just don't get between the bulls and their harem.

My kids and I have been to Estes Park, and 3 months later one of the coasters came off the tracks with deadly results.

Don't remember hearing about that. Crazy tourist town in the summer , but some of the best climbing in the country . Spent many days climbing rocks on Lumpy Ridge and in Rocky Mtn National Park. The golf course is fun and very scenic with a nice old log clubhouse. Good place to have a beer on the deck.

It was probably 15 years ago or so. Drove there from Steamboat for the day.

I played a course in florida, Palm Gardens that was frequented by gators....... I was paired up wityh some locals and was told that they just carted about 200 off of the course the day before! They did not bother you but moved around mostly at night.

The balls were just lying there and the old guy I was paired with picked up 50 or so......said he would never go near those areas unless he knew the gators were gone. Interesting round........saw three that day, all pretty small according to him, but looked BIG enough to me!
