We have 10 inches of snow here in the Colorado foothills and it shows no signs of stopping. We could use the moisture.......as me sainted moother was fond of sayin.
I have an injured elbow ....so no golf anyway. I think i broke the damn thing ! Hockey , sometimes , does not agree with my aging body.
More on this developing weather story later.
JJ

Now that sounds more like Colorado winter weather.............stay warm and watch golf on TV..............I'm sure the Golf Channel will show his putt on 18 from last year at least 40 times today..............

Gee, someone with worse weather than we are having right now. I feel real bad for you JJ. :-}
I'll second the warm chair and golf on tv routine for the weekend. I think I'll join you.

We got sixteen inches here at the house. Beautiful white landscape....the fairways are thirsty. I think i hyper-extended the elbow , but it doesn't seem to be getting better. The dang thing could be a cracked bone. Several of my teammates will be inexplicably absent for our first playoff game tonight. We played 20 regular season games and finished W 10- L 9- T 1 . I was the only player on the team to show up for every game. I had hoped to skip this game due to the elbow ; but with several guys out.....i may be forced to tape it together and play hurt. ( Actually ...i have been , pretty much , hurt all season.) I have a pulled groin on both sides now.....they equalize each other. The only problem ....the first time i try to pokecheck or ...gulp !.....sweepcheck a guy it's going to hurt like bloody hell. I'm a defenceman ; so it won't be easy to stay out of harms way. I know half of the guys on the other team . They know my elbow is injured. You don't think any of them would take advantage of that fact.....do you ? How many Aleve do you think a guy can take before it makes you sick ? These are questions that only the hockey gods can answer......wish me luck. Thanks for pointing out that shoveling excuse Hips........that could be key ! The only problem there could be the fact that i'm playing in a hockey game tonight. She ...who must be obeyed....is bound to use that against me. I may HAVE to make some kind of sacrificial attempt at shoveling. Possibly shovel the front steps ...that lie in the shade most of the time. The Sun is out and bound to do some of it's good work. Yeah.....dats da ticket ! Golf is good on the tube.....GO TIGER !!!!!
