BRIDGESTONE e7+
December 31, 2008

More Penetrating Trajectory
Product: the e7+, by Bridgestone Golf
Price: street price of $26.99 per dozen (suggested retail price of $38 per dozen)

Overview: Bridgestone Golf has added to its e+ series distance-performance line of balls with the e7+, a ball the company says is designed for players who have a high-to-medium ball flight and yet desire a more penetrating trajectory for increased distance.

Construction: The e7+ is a three-piece surlyn construction ball featuring a larger High Speed Gradational Compression Energy Core. According to Bridgestone, when combined with a thinner Initial Velocity Booster Inner Cover, the result is increased ball speed for more distance.

Quote: "The e6+ was designed to help players who want to reduce their sidespin to lessen hooks and slices," says Brandon Sowell, golf ball marketing manager for Bridgestone Golf. "The e5+ was designed for players with a low ball flight who need increased backspin to produce a more optimum trajectory for increased distance. The next natural progression was to offer increased distance to those players who needed a more penetrating ball flight. The e7+ is the perfect complement to our other distance-performance balls."

Seems like a real pain to change out the lenses every time you go ball hunting.
