Yes indeed, fellow MdDivots denizens, it's a new and improved British Open Contest. I'm hoping that a little extra notice will encourage more participation. Pick the best finishing player from each of these countries / continents. The winner will be entrant with the highest total earnings.

The nationalities and earnings are as identified on the official web site http://www.opengolf.com , subject to my following conditions:

1 Ireland is the entire island, not any political subdivisions.
2 North & South America excludes the USA.
3 Entries / modifications accepted until 06:29 AM GMT, Thursday 15 July 2010.
4 Comments / questions / feedback are always welcome.

First prize is a brand new box of Srixon ZStar
Second prize is two brand new sleeve of Pinnacle Gold
Third prize is the admiration of all the other contestants. :)
Good luck

England
Ireland
Wales
Continental Europe

Thanks for the help, boss man. I hope we get everyone to play. I saw today that Toms & Kim have withdrawn, to be replaced by Love & Barnes. I've already got my spreadsheet set up, but I'll have to check the R&A web site to make sure everything is correct before the first ball is on the peg.
