Yes indeed, fellow MdDivots denizens, it's this year's British Open Contest. Pick the best finishing player from each of these countries / continents. The winner will be entrant with the highest total earnings. The nationalities and earnings are as identified on the official web site http://www.opengolf.com , subject to my following conditions: 1 Ireland is the entire island, not any political subdivisions. 2 North & South America includes the USA, as there are only two non-US players to choose from. 3 England includes Wales, as there are only two Welsh players to choose from. 4 Amateurs will be credited with the same amount of winnings as pros in the same place. 5 Entries / modifications accepted until 06:29 AM GMT, Thursday 14 July 2011. 6 Comments / questions / feedback are always welcome. First prize is a brand new box of Srixon ZStar X. Second prize is two brand new sleeve of Pinnacle Gold Distance, and two brand new sleeve of Pinnacle Gold Precision. Third prize is the admiration of all the other contestants. Good luck Scotland England Ireland Continental Europe Africa Asia Oceania North & South America

I'd like to be able to hype it on a few other boards, but I understand that other boards don't want their space used to promote this board & contest. Pingboy over at GEA said no, which is entirely within his rights. Do you subscribe to any other boards?

Why not ? They are probably talking about what effect the new resins will have on the composition of golfball covers and it's relationship to carbon footprint.
HMMMMMMMMM.....maybe that COULD be of some interest. Hey ; i'll bet they have more than four guys that post !
JUST SAYIN. :0)

His theories on modern Euro socialism and it's effect on your short game are facinating. I think i was thrown off of GEA for being such a smartass. I think it may have been Pingboy at the time. Didn't much care for my sense of humor. It seems , he was born without a sense of humor ....as were his father before him and HIS father before that. I don't remember if i was actually thrown out , or if i didn't have anything to add to the discussion on golf towels , and the debate about size and absorbancy that was raging at that time. It was such a harrowing episode. I was despondent for months afterward. I implored them to accept my sincerest apologies , but alas i had angered the men of GEA and my entreaties were ignored. A sad chapter to be sure .
