WHat a showing by David this past week. I know we have thought this before, but maybe this is the time that his game is really back for good. Let's hope so.

I was very impressed by his play yesterday. I would love to see him make a strong comeback and with all the hoopla surrounding a guy down in Windamere, the golf world would love for DD to come back.

Agreed, the game of golf needs something like a DD comeback with some wins. WHat a great positive story that would be.

It was good to see Duval in the mix. He looked like he had some confidence out there with his game. If he can lose his game....i guess he can find it again.
He lost his about the time i lost mine....so maybe i will find mine this season.

It was indeed good to see double D play as he did this past week....... I would love to see him do well and slowly improve till he wins again. I think he is doing it the right way.....and really stuck it to a lot of the pros that took the other course and choose not to go to Q School. He went, didn't work out but did try. I hope the folks that grant those exemptions take all that into consideration and allow him to play their events.

It was a very good effort by Duval, but it fell just short of winning,a lot like the Tom Watson thing of British Open lore. You have to feel good for these guys, because they are showing that they can make a comeback and sometimes contend for these things, which of course makes us all watch it(That is their blessing, because without Tiger in the field,I'm pretty sure their ratings would have been much lower if Duval was not in contention, but that is just my opinion). Everybody loves a comeback story and Duval was it this week.Good for him for a great week. I hope he keeps it up and plays well.

I had to work, so I didn't get to see the action on Sunday. But I was sure pulling for him. It would be good for the game if he were to make it back to full time status, let alone to the heights he once occupied. Is he playing in Mexico this week? It would be shame to waste the spot he earned with a top 10.

Him coming back from 6 down has to give him lots of confidence. Didn't look like he really prepared for a playoff but good to see him coming back to form. I think the difference this week was that he had 4 more consistant rounds.

Duval was a nice story last week , but THE story was Dustin Johnson. He really has some game and looks to be in the mix in some majors this season. He makes putts when he needs them and is more than just a long hitter. Tiger would not have played this tournament..............even without all the mess . He might have played at Torrey Pines , but The Accenture Matchplay is the first tournament that he would have , probably , played for sure this season. I don't think the ratings have been affected at all by his absence....YET. Golf struggles for ratings every early season with all the other sports happenings. People don't really start watching until they play towards Augusta. If he doesn't play The Masters....then they will lose some of the casual watchers. He will be compounding the already stupid way he has handled this thing if he doesn't play The Masters. I hope he plays this year , but why should i care about the ratings for golf on television ? The PGA Tour cares.....the players care.......the sponsers care.......i don't care. I watch very little golf on television these days. It can be an excruciatingly boring game to watch. I have it on dvr and rarely even watch the recordings. I would rather play than watch and they make more than enough money already. Golf will survive. ( OF COURSE...the ratings will be through the roof when he plays....but not so much for his golf.) Tiger will play and win again. He will be at the Masters....but if he's not....will you guys really NOT watch this year's Masters ? I always watch the Major tournaments on television. .......Tiger or no Tiger. Duval will win the Masters this year. You heard it here first.

I wouldn't be suprised if either Johnson or Duval won a major this year.
