There was a pretty good little golf tournament this past weekend?

Oh, yeah, Tiger won.

It was a GREAT tournament............I think with a little seasoning Sean will be able to push the big cat a bit..............but he will have to do better than he did on Sunday!

Agreed! But he did pretty darn well. What he will have to do is actually believe the self-talk he espoused in his interview about playing with Tiger in the final group. It's one thing to say you are not playing Tiger but playing the course, it's another to actually do it and not get caught up in playing anything other than your own game with no regard to what Tiger does or does not do.

He's not the first to fall victim to the Sunday showdown with Tiger and all the distractons that goes on with playing with him in the final group on Sunday, nor will he be the last, but he seems like the type of young man who will learn from it in a positive way and do better next time he's in that situation, whether with Tiger or someone else.

Great points GA, I think he can hang in there but he needs to get a little more consistency first. Several of those putts really cost him. :D

True...and here's my .02 on that. His misses were woefully short. IMO, that's from trying to be too perfect and being tentative due to not wanting to make a mistake. I think ties back to not just playing your own game, as you know you can, and being tight. He needs more experience on the big stage to overcome that. I think this one had to help him more than his collapse on 17 at the PGA. :0)

I thought Sean "pushed" Tiger pretty well. O'Hair had the lead for several days and it went all the way to the 72nd hole. Tiger made three really big putts that were amazing. O'Hair needed to shoot par on Sunday and did not get the job done , but he had a great tournament and will be better next time.

Tiger got lucky......he's on the verge of losing his game .....he's through....stick a fork in him. :)
