The tour needs to fix this problem soon. As everyone on here knows I'm still a fan of Tiger the golfer who wants him to break records. That being said, there needs to be other golfers who peak the interest of the masses, someone(s) who makes us want to tune in when Tiger is not in the field. I don't know if or what the PGA tour can do to solve this long time problem.

Look at all the qualifiers that didn't show. tiger couldn't play last week. Had to watch the Hawks cause earthquakes with their big win while at the ocean so little viewing.

Pretty sad when qualifiers don't feel it's worth the time or effort to take a little vacation to Hawaii.

I don't know what their audience was last week , but i caught healthy parts of three days of the golf. I always enjoy that first tournament of the year. I had forgotten that Eldrick did not win a tournament last year. It's always nice to have him in the field , but my interest level was about the same without him. Nice to have it on in the evening and there are a bunch of players whom peak my interest.

You guys are just Tiger sniffers , so you think EVERYONE is a sniffer. As for guys that did not show......they make too much money. They need to be a bit hungrier. Knock em down a peg. Fricking prucks. Yeah...like that's going to happen.

I thought the golf was really good. Course is a bit too pliant for the bombers , but you had some nice golf going on. Not much of a golf fan if you only want to see Tiger play. He probably spent the week in some orgy somewhere in the hashish dens of Marrakech .
Oh , i forgot , he's given that sex stuff up. Not bloody likely.
Now...how's that for enflaming passions ? A good solid anti-Tiger post to make folks poke their heads out from under the covers. We are having fun now.

Off to a roaring start. Not a good omen when the second tourney gets a rain delay. A pile of rookies playing there, sure they are enjoying the time in the islands even if the big names aren't.

I'm not too concerned since I will be watching football this weekend, this does mess up fantasy golf. I see yahoo changed things. You can still change your 8 picks for the tourney and your 1st round lineup, something that you were never able to do in the past once the first round was scheduled to start.

Sony need Michelle Wie. Already bored with golf. No Tiger. Want see Tiger drink water and chew on energy bar. Miss little wave Michelle make after making putt. Only boring guy play in Sony. Sony suck.

Looks like they still have pumps all over the course sucking;-)
