They did a feature on him today on GC and his is a remarkable story. Two Heart Transplant, the second from a world class vollyball player that was killed in a hit and run auto accident. How he met his wife, and concieved his child and then to come back and play on the tour like he has so far this year.
He is living the dream! His Mother even said that the family has said goodbye twice as he went into the 14 hour transplant operations........kinda makes you think..............

I thought so.........before I heard all the "behind the scene" details" I just figured he was a charity case.........but not so, Jim Mclean thinks he has the best golf swing he has ever seen! Seems like he is quite a remarkable guy...........
Going to get the Ben Hogan award at The Masters as well.

They did a feature during the NBC telecast on Sunday. He went through all the problems , like swelling of his face and weight gain , as a kid. The steroids he was taking made his face swell up to three times the normal size. That's a tough way to grow up . My son had a good friend , as a kid , with much the same problems.
He also mentioned he played in a tournament as a teenager with Sergio Garcia , where Sergio was shooting par and Eric was shooting "about a hundred."
Great story ......hope he can make the cut in a few down the road.
