Nice to see Ernie win again. He was really rolling the ball and his iron shots looked good. All the "greats" were there but one , so it was a nice win and a good story heading into the MASTERS.

I'm a big Ernie fan ......but if it comes out that he likes to frequent gay bath-houses and lay about smoking opium while receiving backrubs from guys named Lars................i am ready to forgive and forget and hope he can become a better man.

Mickelson needs to stop tinkering with his game ....he won't....and put a driver in his bag that he can hit a fairway with. It could be a really good Masters this year if all these guys play well and Woody comes back. Anybody watching golf yet ?

Quite suprised the big easy won again, thought he was through. But this win has to do a lot for his confidence.

I was not surprised at all.. Ernie can win another major in my opinion.

Shot a 77 yesterday......i'm hitting the ball pretty well and looking forward to having a solid season. Good luck out there this year...i'll check in later....maybe we can all have a sexy party. :)

I also was glad the Big Easy won......I just "wish" he would ditch that SAP hat. I understand he gets a lot of cash from wearing it.....but he looks like a.......well......sap!

Also glad to see Ernie back. And I also wondered if the knee surgery had done him in. Maybe it was a trust thing - ya know - will the knee hold up if he really lets it go. Gotta be a B-I-G confidence boost.
I wasn't a big fan of his in the beginning but, as I started watching that smooth, graceful swing from such a big man, and heard how laid-back and gentle he was with people who interviewed - or even just spoke to him - I began to really like the guy. Glad to see he's back and I think this just might be a harbinger of good things to come.
Cheers
Chuck

Yeah...that hat looks bad , but can you imagine getting paid to wear a hat ?!?

I might even wear that thing that Shingo Katayama wears ...if they paid me to wear it. Whatever happened to Shingo ? Maybe he decided to star in some bad Japanese westerns or join a gay rock band.

Thanks Hips......i just shot a 78 between snow storms to break 80 twice in five rounds this season. (Got another 10 inches of snow yesterday. )

Now i need to start messing with my game so i can go into a nice prolonged slump. :)

Just hoping my back holds up so i can keep playing.......i should be hitting my 9 iron 194 yards any day now.
I don't think i could hit a 9 iron 194 yards if i bladed it down an airport runway ! :)

Hello Chuck......Ernie is not nearly as exciting as some other players we all know and love. He's polite and respectful towards the people who come to watch him and he does not have a string of hosehounds. I hope he gets in the mix at the Masters and wins it. He is playing well enough to do it , but he'll probably have to beat Woody to do it. It would be a nice story.......Ernie...Phil....Stricker....Padraig.......Shingo...anybody but Woods.
