Went to the range today...at least I hit every ball I took a swing at Once again there has been no miracle transformation over the winter The putting green there was like a turtle shell, at least it drains well. Not a good place to start practicing.

"Once again there has been no miracle transformation over the winter " And you expected........................ "The putting green there was like a turtle shell" I practice putting all winter long on the carpet. I know the breaks in my den floor! It helps to keep the mechanics moving and working.........but real practice begins when I am outside on the real thing.

Hope to give it another try tomorrow before the rain hits. This other range has a much flatter putting green. But the other one was convenient since I had to take mil to the dentist.

To anyone of you out there that think you can putt lights out...I have just the course to challenge your putting. This course has some very sloped greens, and when they place the hole in the right place,5 putts on a hole is not out of the picture. The slope gets you every time. I enjoy this course because the greens are immaculate. They are some of the toughest greens I have ever played, and that is why I keep going back to this course, and it is in Michigan. The course is Wesburn,in South Rockwood. A couple of days ago, they had a promotion that anyone that was unemployed could get a free round of golf.Hundreds of people showed up,and it was the focus of a couple of news channels in the area.Of course I showed up for my free round, and ended up playing 3 full rounds that day.I didn't shoot that well overall, but my putting was lights out all day...And most importantly,I met some new people that gave me some good advise on how to break into the newest industrial boom around here...The movie studios. I told them I had experience mixing sound, which I do (I have a studio in the basement of my home, which is a shock to the people that see it,because it is quite an elaborate setup, but I have been doing it for many years),and they told me to go for it.I have nothing to lose. They are right...I have nothing to lose...And I'm going for it.I am looking into different schools for recording, and there are some schools that are close to me. My experience thus far has been sheet metal work, and I could still help them out in that kind of work also. My advise to everyone...Those dreams you are chasing are not far fetched...Chase them, catch them, and maybe you will gain something out of it,maybe even a life long dream.
