John Daly says he has been suspended from the PGA Tour for six months!! Certainly it had to happen sooner of later. I only hope he takes some time to reflect on his life and life on Tour, how much fan support he still has, and can get rid of his demons and come back out and play the golf he is still capable of. http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/Sports/2008 ... 89256.html

I saw that, if he's smart he will head to Europe and work and play his way back into shape and STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!!!!!!

Hopefully, he can find a venue in which to continue to play, but this action may certainly hurt those chances. He's not done so well with his Euro exemptions either!! I wish him all the best and hope he makes it back.

Also read it. More promises to get his life and game straightened out. Would be nice if it really happened.

I only hope he can look into the mirror and see he is the one who got himself to this place in time. From what I just read on tgc he still is in self denial. Like we have all said before its up to him to straighten his life out. But I truly think time is running out for him to do that. If he doesnt take care of it now and keeps on going the way that he is,he will have hit rock botton and run out of options to play. I think he is going to have a hell of time trying to get some exemptions on the PGA tour when he get back off suspension if he doesn"t get his life together once and for all. I know there is a couple of guys on the board who dont care what he does anymore and I can understand that. Like i said time is definitely running out on John. I would just like to see him get back to playing as well as he used to when his game was good. I think the hour glass is running right now on John. I really do.

Well, I'm a pretty good Daly fan. And a fan of those who take the road less traveled as it were. But the big guys starting to get to me also. It's ok to push the establishment by living on the edge but sooner or later you need to take a step away from the edge and catch your breath. I think John needs to take a breath and soon.
Later,

IMO, DNRS and Gary have made great points on "Stepping Back" and looking at what is happening to his life. Maybe it will take more people like Harmon to just tell him your on your own, that might wake him up !!!! Who knows, but as stated I hope he does something soon !!!!!
