And another thing I just thought of - they said on the w/e that he'd gone back to an old teacher who has moved him away from the "stack-and-tilt" and suddenly, he's back on the leaderboard. Funny, Gary player told him to lose it when he asked for advice the day before he had to play Tiger in the Accenture - and he won! Hmmmmmm! 61

I have the impression that Mike is a really nice guy. With that said, he does not have that "killer" part that others have and can call on. Weir has just as much talent, but when he need that killer instinct, he has a hard time in calling it up. Phil at times has a hard time as well, a perfect example is this past Open. He was in position, but as someone said just could not finish it.
There have been others in the past that would beat their mother if they could.........Tiger, is part of that group, which makes him so good. Mike is a nice guy that has just as much talent as a lot of others and could win much much more if he could learn to step on the throat.

What's with these guys anyway? They win big and then go searching for something "Better". Either swing or equipment or both. Face it, there aren't many like Tiger who can revamp everything and hit the ground running. Most just evaporate into oblivion, never to be heard from again. Mike seems like he is one of the fortunate ones who can get back to what they had and be successful with it. Sorry FG, but I just don't see him with a "killer" snarl. :-}

Well, neither do I, that will be his problem, however, the match in the Presidents Cup was different, if you watched that.........a little bit came out, he wanted that one badly and was determined to win it. I believe he has it in him, just way down deep.

And yeah, he knew what he wanted, went after and got it. Tele
