Saw an article earlier that she expects to attend 2 of 3 semesters at Stanford and get her degree. Semesters, if I remember right, are about 15 weeks long. Not much time left for golf then.

Whoever wrote the article basically doesn't have a clue....Stanford does not operate on a semester system, rather quarters, 4 per year. What she's stated, and what I stated earlier she could easily do, is exactly what she did this past year, attend the fall and winter "quarters" and play golf in the spring and summer "quarters."

Plenty of time for golf!

Agreed !!!!!! :D

Michelle Wie displayed a careful, under-control swing as she qualified for the LPGA Tour at Q-School this month, but she's still capable of uncorking 300-plus-yard bombs in practice and still intends to play in men's tournaments, Wie told reporters at a media conference in Seoul, South Korea on Tuesday. Wie was in Seoul to attend her grandfather's funeral. According to a South Korean newspaper, Wie said she intends to keep up her studies at Stanford while she plays the LPGA Tour, attending two out of three semesters a year. "It will take me six years to graduate," she joked. Wie added that she anticipates a warmer welcome from other LPGA pros now that???s she???s earned her card. She expects big things from herself as well, predicting many wins on tour.

But, according to GA, Stanford is on the quarter system.

She has gone the right route, earned her card and also in school. Now, if she would just get that "playing the men's tournament" thing out of her head and concentrate on the LPGA IMO she would be on track. She sure doesn't need to get back to where she was with all of the wrong leadership !!!
