I've never been a big fan of Tiger but, nor have I been a hater.

Just nice to see him pull it together and win again. And I have to eat a little crow here insofar as I was one of the people listening to the wonks saying he was done - his knee was trashed way more than he let on - his head still wasn't where it needed to be.

The folks doing on-course at the Chevron - Dottie, Maltby, and the usual gang of suspects, were all saying they'd never seen him so squared up at impact nor hitting it so pure. Maltby was saying that it seems as though what Sean Foley has been trying to teach him had finally started to gel.

In any event, nice to see him get it back. Never wanted to see him go out with a whimper, as it was starting to appear.

Cheers
Tele

Will sure get some excitement back into the golf scene. He also lost yesterday, Chevron dropped as the sponsor.

Yeah I was thrilled to see him get a victory. I hope this can build confidence for him going into next year. It seems he finished this year strong, and I think his game is really coming back. We're rooting for you Tig!

YEAH.....i was watching some of the Dubai tournament and the first FOUR best players Donald , McIlroy , Westwood , and Kaymer. We need Tiger to comeback strong in 2012. Also need some of our young guys to kick some Euro ass.

Those limeys and micks are getting a little too high on their horses. :)

I am now a member of the Tiger fan club. I know...hard to believe...but it's true.

Good to hear from you Graham . Drop in often . We need some new blood in here....or even some old blood........bad blood ??? Any kind of blood will do.
We have a lively ( barely alive ? ) discussion going on in a few quadrants.....Sports ...pick your passions. We'll even listen to drivel , as we are advanced purveyors of inane drivel and will even entertain thoughts on golf at times ! :)

Quite an accomplishment for Donald to come out #1 on both tours. But someone here needs to step up in more than the Pres Cup. Probably goes back to the idea of how much money you can make on tour without winning.

The guy is so solid ...and he can make a putt....without one of those stupid long putters. KILL THE LONG PUTTER !
I like Luke. I hope he gets a Major in 2012.

Will Rory win another Major in 2012 ? Tiger will get another Masters ....unless he stays with those shoes. :)

Rory has dengue fever, will be interesting to see how he recovers.
One mag cover this month says TW will switch to the long putter this year.

All the help they get from today's drivers , shafts , and balls.......and they have to anchor a long putter too ! ( Not to mention the perfect conditions they play .) USGA needs to step in here , but they won't , because they are afraid of the manufacturers. Equipment companies calling the shots now.

I can no longer root for a guy that is using one of those things.....cheaters !

Rory should stay out of the jungle.

So TW probably won't play here until arnies gathering.

Yes, everything is so tuned to them that a stiff blade of grass making a microscopic nick will mess them up. So how much is a $400 driver really worth? $50?, $75? Lots of endorsement money in them.
Av's just tied it up.
