It might have been Paula Creamer's most important drive of the day. Creamer slid behind the steering wheel of her car late Saturday afternoon - banishing her father, Paul, to the passenger's seat - in a Trump International parking lot. Creamer, who an hour or so earlier had qualified for a place in today's eight-player chase for a $1 million first prize in the ADT Championship by shooting a two-under-par 70, has been sick since Wednesday night. She almost withdrew from the tournament Friday morning. She has vomited. She has endured chills and sweats and fevers. And during Saturday's single-round competition for a spot in the final-day ADT field, Creamer frequently doubled over on tees, in fairways and on greens seeking relief from severe pain. Which is why Creamer was driving to Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach to undergo a CT-scan to check for appendicitis.

She was cleared by the doctor to play this morning, IMO should have pulled out but guess youth and wanting to win top money of the year was important. Cant say in our younger days we wouldn't have done the same !!!! :(

I never did see an official diagnosis. If she had appendicitis I seriously doubt she would have been playing. A ruptured appendix can kill you in a matter of hours not days, they don't generally fool around with that. I could be wrong.

Maybe she had a bad Cheeseburger on Friday night. Ok Cobra. Where were you Friday night? :-}

I was rooting for her too. She seems to be a likeable enough pro. She wasn't real happy with her putting either Saturday or Sunday but if you're not getting any sleep I can see where it would bother you.

Later,

Never heard the official reason for her pain either, but as you stated her putting sure went south. If it was appendicitis the doctor needs his head examined for releasing her to play Sunday !!!!

Uh,,,, Cobra was at home !!! Had noting to do with this !! :D :D

Heard last night on GC that it had something to do with the wall of her stomach, not the appendix. She was cleared to go over seas and play in the Lexus Cup, so must not be too serious.
