I'm just wondering when (if?) everyone is voting. Florida has gone to an early voting option, and it's been a huge success. The Division of Elections web sites says that 1,670,475 Floridians have voted early as of 5:00 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008, and voting continues through Saturday. It's been so big that the Governor issued an executive order extending early voting hours to 7AM - 7PM.

Update: 1,954,006 Floridians have voted early as of 5:00 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2008. Wow!

It's the same here in my county in NM. About half have voted early/absentee, hours were extended here too, the turnout was so good. I think it's great and "should" cut down on those long lines on Tuesday.

Read that there were 750,000 absentee ballots distributed here in the state. Our county is all mail balloting.
