I'm watching the post match interviews of the Euros at the Ryder Cup. As usual, the questions from the press are mostly stupid, but, that said, Faldo was fine, but Seve and the Euro players were somewhat childish, sarcastic, maybe even rude, and somewhat smart ass! I think that is uncalled for.

They lost, yes. They're disappointed, yes. But that was not warranted.

I didn't get to see it, but if it was anything like Westwoods statement I would agree 100%. Seems its alright with him when on "Their" soil the fans get into it, but sure different when "Our" fans get into it !!!!!!

In general I'd agree. From what we saw, I thought the fans were about the same as the Euro fans are when it's held over there. That said, if true, the kind of comments Lee talked about were personal, very personal toward him in particular, such as disparaging (very nasty) remarks about his mother on #12 tee. If that's true, that's over the top.

In general, he said he understood supporting your team, but some don't know where the line is between supporting their team and being disparaging toward the other team. I'd have to agree with that one. I'm sure there were a few who had several too many libations and got carried away. I don't know why he was singled out, however, except he was whining about it from day one, and that probably brought the worst out in some of the "fans." He did say someone was ejected.

Zinger said he spoke with several of the police and security, and they said no one was ejected. So...

As stated, I didn't see the interview with the team. But, if it did get to a point about his mother or something I agree 100% that's uncalled for. I think he was responsible for the most part as he brought the attention to "Himself". Whining from day one sure didn't help !!!!!

Good morning. Seve is a first class jerk ....and he has always been a first class jerk. The only thing this Ryder Cup was missing was Mrs Doubtfire out there whining and staring into the crowd. Instead ; we had Lee Westwood , who thinks he is somehow intimidating with that stupid stare he was trying to use. Give it a break Lee........it's time to disappear for another five years like last time. Westwood is not good enough to stare at ANYBODY ! We have been putting up with THEIR antics for the last decade , not to mention that insufferable OLE......OLE..... SONG !!!!!! ( Even the USA chant sounds better than that stuff.)
The Euros are always pissy when they lose . They are the best guys in the world....until they lose. Then they are like a bunch of AH Seves. Faldo dealt with it like the Champion he is , but most of those other guys are poseurs. Garcia (who showed lots of class) would be well served to NOT follow the path that Seve has blazed when it comes to sportsmanship.

It really IS too bad Monty wasn't out there for this one. It would have made it a much better win to see that old lady take it in the gut. Boo and Anthony were fantastic out there. That's JUST what this team has needed for the last decade............some ferver!!! Deal with it ya socialist Euro scum !!!!
How's that for candor ? I need another cup of coffee. USA.....USA.....USA.....USA !!!!!

His mother wears army boots !!!! He should have backed up that WIMPY stare with some wins. Time to fly back to merry old England with the rest of the yooooooros. Not such a good time when you lose.........EHHHHHH Lee ?

I love it ...........nothing like a bunch of sorehead Englishmen , who think they are better players than they really are. Poulter made some putts.....but he's still poofter to me. Yee hawwww.......USA...USA....USA....USA !!!!

MAN....THAT COFFEE IS STRONG THIS MORNING

HMMMMMMMMMM......."childish , sarcastic , maybe even rude , and somewhat smartass ! "
Say it isn't so !!!!!!! Those funloving and loose Euros can't possibly be all those things. They got a face full of Florida swamp creature and Anthony the killer Kim. They didn't like it.........but we did !

Can you imagine if that old lady Monty had been out there ? It was time for a big USA win... and it happened.

The Euro fans have been barking for the last 7 or 8 years about thier boys. Now it's our turn ya limey scum.

I thought about coming on and being the nice guy towards that fine group of young European players.........for about ten seconds. They lost and whined......now it's time to rub their noses in it.

I'll give credit to Sergio in this one, he showed a lot of sportsmanship during the event. When the U.S. had gained the last point needed to take the cup, he was out on the green congratulating the U.S. players. Also, in the interview room, during the interview when everyone else was being jerks, he was not, he took the higher road.

Westwood's whining about Boo during the first day matches, was total BS...nothing different than the Euros and Euro crowds do during the matches overseas. I will say, however, someone making personal remarks about his mother, is over the top and uncalled for, but that and the other things he brought up were isolated incidents, and I'm sure it's not the first time he's heard drunken fans go over the top. They should have been ejected, and I never saw nor did I hear him say he asked them to be. Curtis was playing with him during the match the comment was supposedly made about his mother...wonder if he heard it? Nevertheless, that kind of stuff is uncalled for.

Other than that, touch shit, Euros!!! :D :D
