This year is not the year for me to go to the LPGA in Williamsburg. The dates are May 7-10th. I would get back from Pinehurst and leave for Williamsburg.............that is just not going to fly! Maybe next year, I can adjust the dates a little better.

It's possible the Buick Open has seen the last of Tiger Woods with Monday's announcement that the world's top-ranked golfer and General Motors will end their endorsement deal at the end of this year. Buick golf promotions manager Larry Peck said Woods wasn't required to play in any of Buick's PGA Tour events. Peck could only hope Woods will return to Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc. Woods has played the Buick Open eight times since 1998, and he won it in 2002 and '06. Players traditionally return to defend their titles, but Woods has skipped the past two Buicks because of the birth of his first child and because of the knee injury that ended his season after his U.S. Open victory in June. After Woods' last Buick victory, he said he liked the traditional tree-lined layout at Warwick Hills and how it set up for his game. But Woods also admitted he was not a fan of the low-scoring nature of the event. The Buick Open has a contract to remain at Warwick through 2010. Peck said changing the tournament site to entice Woods would not be easy.

Hey,,, I can understand that totally !!!! I would put Pinehurst "First" any day !!! No need to adjust dates, I am sure the guys want to go the same time each year. That would be a major overhaul !!!!!
