Okay, folks, I'm transferring the four parshooter threads from the other McDivots forum. For those of you who aren't in the know, we are tracking just how much money a player would earn if he/she shot exactly par during every round of every event on four tours: PGA, Nationwide, European PGA, & LPGA. We assume that our hypothetical men don't automatically make it into their majors, but that the ladies do. And we assume that all the players play every week they are eligible to do so. I try to update the first post every week with the previous week's results, and I post an update / bump message with the current money list standings. Any and all comments, questions, etc. are always welcome. Finally, these threads are dedicated to the memory of HoganRadial, a poster on the GEA board who started doing this several years ago, and who passed away in 2007. RIP, Scott.

Wednesday evening bump. Mr. Par got his second best check since California, but he's still #53 on the money list. That leaves about $50,000 short of the magic 25th place with 7 tournaments left in the season.

Tuesday evening bump. Another short week for Mr. Par, and he's down to #54 on the money list.

Tuesday afternoon update. Another week, another slammed trunk for Mr. Par, who is now 58th on the money list. He's going to have reverse course even to make the tour championship.

Ouch,,,, Not good !!!!!

Tuesday evening bump. Mr. Par's freefall continues. He is now 61st on the money list.

Falling pretty deep here !!!! Not a good sign.

He has to get it in gear even to make the Nationwide Tour Championship. IIRC only the top 55 make that field. Otherwise he's back to the second stage of Q school, where par has no hope.

I believe you are correct on the 55 !!! And no way will par make it. He does need to get it in gear !!!

Thursday evening bump. It's becoming routine; Mr. Par plays two rounds, heads out early, and slips further down the money list. Now he's 61st, and he only has two weeks to make enough cash to qualify for the Tour Championship.
