Later, Even though I did not really use the "unread messages to me" feature that much on Delphi or Prospero, I do realize that this is probably the greatest feature that they have over the other types of forums. I end up reading most of the posts on our forums, but then again there is not that many too go through. The best we can do here is read "unread posts", which would include all posts made since the last time you logged on. I'm doing research to see if anyone has a work around that can be coded in our forum. PHPBB is extremely flexible and I'm confidant that someone has come up with a way to achieve "unread message to me". Be patient and know that this is the number one thing I'm trying to find a solution to.

I'm willing to give it some time to see what can be done. I mentioned my wants in the Wish List thread.

Roy (Kevin) Nice site. It will take my 60 year old brain a little time to get the hang of it.

Later, Russ:
Just signed into this forum for the first time yesterday but if I'm not mistaken I believe you can be notified of posts made to you. If I have this right it is enabled by the way you setup your preferences. There are some options there that might give you what you want. Hey, but I'm still trying to figure how I can get the Avatar to work for me....

D, try going into the control panel, select "Edit or Add Avatar". You will then see upload, hit the button and underneath should be another button that says "Place In Line". I am going off of memory here so I hope it helps !!!!

I see you figured the avatar out. Good deal. I think the only thing you can get notified of is any responses to a thread you started. Oh well, I'm sort of used to the way it works now.
