Need a new group.........want to join ours?? You would probably fit right in, and we do have one spot open! We are a bunch of current and retired retailers...........not much on night life except for a good meal and penny ante poker. As far as golfers, we range from high 20's down to maybe one in high single digits, but we can bring him down to our level .

I stopped by Ford's Colony in Rocky Mount today to talk to them. Were VERY nice and accomadating and they were even willing to book the tee times for the return in May.......so they are booked! Now just to get the hotel lined up there and we are set to go! Now just the countdown.........why does it seem to go so slow.........

From all I've been reading, look at the online discounters for the hotel. Things like Priceline and Hotwire. Prices there are supposed to be 25% of the hotel's best listed price at times.

Prices are dropping, that may be why they came down a bunch before I booked........we rent vans for this trip, and right before Christmas I was just scouting around and told the group that the prices were rather high this year. Well, just booked them cheaper than last years price, so it was good we waited!

That is good. Have been reading about cruises for $50/day and Vegas rooms for about the same price.
