Interesting.
While I was stationed in Norfolk in the late 70's some of my shipmates and I took several group lessons from a guy named Dorsey Meade down in the Indian River area. He had a small golf shop, driving range and if memory serves me correctly he had like a 5 hole course. He was an elderly AA gentleman and had a bunch of trophies in his shop. I didn't think much of it at the time but I may have met one of the men that probably could have been discussed in that video.
Cobra, Did you ever hear of him or run into him?

I have heard the name but never run into him. If the "Stories" are correct, the place he had is now a full driving range & putt putt for all ages. They still give lessons. Its located on Indian River and Military Highway.
