Geez...this thread is nearly TWO years old ! We have lots of weather to FREAK OUT about here in 2011. They called off school in most places here because it's cold.....because it's COLD ! If it's too cold for teenagers to wear their droopy shorts to school ......the school districts call off school. The media treats weather like a terrorist attack. We are supposed to get all worked up about the fact that it's Winter in North America.
" IT'S NEVER SNOWED LIKE THIS !!!! " It's a MONSTER STORM ! Then they bring on some guy to connect it all to Global Warming. NOW they are bringing the truck drivers on to say ...." I been out here fer nigh onta thirty five years and i ain't never seen nothin like this ." Every time a truck driver gets stuck in the middle of a storm , he says something like that.
Anyway.......it is snowing in Chicago ( Keep warm Roy) and it's , apparently , the end of the world in NYC...and much too cold for school in Colorado. They are cackling up in Regina......the most carefully pronounced city in the world. :0)

The question is .....does anyone LIVE in northern Australia ?
Heat wave today...it's 9 degrees here. They have frozen greens down in Scottsdale. Probably start a bit late today.

4 hours late. pretty bad when a mid west storm goes way south. Actually the tail end of the cloud front is way down to Puerto Vallarta.

Snow ( 8 inches ) overnight and into Superbowl Sunday. Snow Monday.....snow today and cold..... 5 degrees here.
The ponds are frozen by golly. Es mucho caliente en mi casa...con mi parro Maximillion y los gatos.
