A 48 year old in the lead who's absolutely convinced he can win, An Argentine tied with him who knows he can win, three major champions within 5 strokes and then Tiger/Phil poised to make folks forget everything else. This is just about as good as it gets. I'm going to be glued to it.
A three way playoff with Woods, Watney and Westwood would make me a happy camper. :-}
Later, I like the post except for the playoff,,,, Will be pulling for Perry today !!!!

I watched the entire tournament and enjoyed every minute of it. Today's round was far more than I ever expected. I was pulling for Kenny, and am sorry he didn't come through for himself, but hopefully he will have another few chances. Phil and Tiger made it far more interesting than I imagined they would (well, until 17 LOL), but still was a great tourney.
When it got down to the playoff, I was certainly pulling for Kenny and then Campbell if Kenny F'd up, but it was not to be. The man with experience winning a major pulled it out when the pressure was really on. Not my favorite of the day, but kudos to Cabrera. He earned it.

I was impressed that it took until 17 for the nerves to get to Perry. He said in the interview that his right hand got "twitchy" and fast. Cabrera was fun to watch, hitting it all over the park and still recovering. I think Campbell learned the most about himself. He now knows he has the game to win a major. When Phil jumped out quick I knew it was going to be a fun day. He was hitting the ball much better than Tiger was. The shot on 5 from jail to tap-in range is probably one of the best shots I've ever seen. If he would not have had the mind-fart on 12 I think we would be talking about a different winner. After Phil hit the shot on 5 Tiger started talking to himself. You could feel him struggling. After the eagle on 8 and the save on 9 I thought he might blister the back nine but it didn't work out that way. It looked to me like he was using a steel shafted driver, wonder what's up with that? He was below the field average in fairways hit so if it was for accuracy it looks like he missed. Phil was noticably longer with the driver and I hadn't seen that before.
All in all it was a wonderful tournament and just solidifies my opinion that it's the best of the "Majors".

A really entertaining final day at the Masters. Phil and that guy he was playing with put on quite a show. Phil missed those two putts and that ball in the water on 12 was devastating. He has that " Norman disease " at times.......listen to your frucking caddie once in a while numbnuts !!! ( Bones was < reportedly> asking him to hit an eight iron.) Cabrera hit a nine iron on that hole and got lucky ( it released up the green below the hole)........Phil ....not so lucky. A really great front nine for Phil and not too bad for Tiger . They couldn't quite get the cow in the barn , but it was fun to watch.
The finish........Cabrera was lucky again! He twacks one as hard as you can twack one off a tree and gets lucky. On the last playoff hole Kenny couldn't hit a seven iron on the green .......A SEVEN IRON ! ( Or was it an eight !?) Chad Campbell puts himself in perfect position on the first playoff hole and what did he hit in the sand on his second shot ? I think it was an eight iron or possibly a seven iron. Let the Hogan comparisons cease ! Hogan hits an eight iron to four or five feet from that position. They really choked those shots to hand it to a guy who was deep in the pines and made a lucky par that should have been trumped by birdie from ONE of those two guys. That's golf........congrats to Cabrera for his win.

I really felt for Kenny after the last 2 holes but thats golf,,, !!! Tiger and Phil came closer as you stated than I thought, for a minute I thought Phil was going to have the round of his life and take the jacket !!!
