It was a decent show but I sure hated what they had for "Song Selection". IMO, your not missing anything there, they just seem to go overboard on Adam.

Thing ya gotta watch out for with Adam is his stage presence and theatrics! This guy was a pro in another genre!
Personally, I hate his style. It's shreaky and screamy and any other adjective you want to add - but it gets attention. It's a heavy metal band without the band.....if ya know what I mean. And it's salable - but only in this setting. Add 2 guitar players and a bass player with a stage-wide wall of Marshall amps, and a drummer.......and what sets him apart from a front man in Metallica, Megadeath, Iron Maiden etc., etc., etc.,?????????? Unfortunately, I think he's going to be around for a while. What will sort him out is when they have a night when they have to sing old standards or show tunes. My bet is he'll crash and burn.

American Idol messed up and I hope it don't screw Adam.

Many of us dvr Idol and start watching it a little while after it started so we don't have to deal with commercials and some of the other boring non-singing stuff. Well, the show got behind schedule a little bit and Adam who was the last performer, sang after the show was scheduled to have ended. Anyone dvr'ing the show did not get Adam's performance recorded. It could cost him some votes. He is so liked that I don't think it will hurt him too much, but Idol has too keep the show moving on time.

That was a bad ending for those recording, but the way it ened I have to believe it wont hurt him at all. He just might take this whole thing !!!!

My voting predictions after last nights show.

1) Adam
2) Danny
3) Chris
4) Alison
5) Anoop
6) Matt
7) Lil Rounds

Two are going home and Lil Rounds is one of them and it will be a toss up between Anoop and Matt as the other one.
Simon is spot on again this year. The rest of them gushed about Matt and Anoops's perfromacne, but I agree with Simon and was not impressed one bit with either of them. I think of the final 7, Paula has told 5 of them this season that they will be in the finals. I personally think Adam, Chris and Alison are the final 3. I don't share all the love the judges have for Danny. He is rock solid, but not over the charts hot.

Have to agree there Roy !!!! IMHO,,, I dont think anyone will know out Adam,,,, to darn good !!

Adam ends up second to last in this weeks voting. I don't know how that happened. People actually are finally starting to get on the Allison bandwagon.

With how Adam ended up in the bottom two, it just proves that any of the final four can win this thing.

Well Roy,,,,, I tell ya,,, I have "No" idea how Adam ended up in the bottom !!! That's the biggest shock this year and I also believe it shocked the judges. IMO, he had this thing wrapped up but not to sure others see it that way any more !!!
