ok Cobra and Hips, here is the rest of the story on my trip to Las Veagas and Mesquiteaftera disappointing day at the Palms course in Mesquite Thursday was a day i was really looking forward to as we were headed to St George, Utah to a course called the Ledges. We had palyed up there 4 other times over the years and the courses were very nice. St. George is about 35 miles from Mesquite again going north on I-15. Well i tell yathis course was a treat to play. it is located outside of St. George about 10 miles. it right at the base of the Snow Canyon buttes and mountain. It was absoutley gorgeous too say the least. Again the fairways were like a thick carpet and the greens had lots of undulations in them. I forget what hole it was on the backside but it was a par4 downhill you had to hit over a creek to a green the was severly two tiered. Ihit my shot on the front and it rolled all the way around the green down on the bottom tier about 75 feet away. My buddy did the same. he drained taht putt andi ended up 3 putting. But ill tell ya it was one beutiful hole. One ill never forget. The front nine is pretty flat but has some tough holes but the backside is real scenic. I hope my buddy puts this back in the rotation next year. Check it out everyone. http://www.ledges.com/stgeorgegolfcourse/ Thein click on the "lifestyle gallery link. It show a few of the holes. Did i mention i want to go back there. . Well as always we always finish up our trip with the cremme del crem Wolf Ceek back in Mesquite. I think if i was ever limited to play one course for the rest of my life it would be this one.As i have said before this course was was cut out of canyons, buttes and mountains. The guy that built it never had any blueprints to build the wolf. He just visulized where each hole would go and built it. You get up on each tee box and say to your self you got to be kidding me. the only way to describe it is vissually stunning and nothing like you have ever seen and played. I described a couple of holes in my first post but if you ever make it to Las Vegas rent a car and go play the Wolf . The sand traps are kind of unique in thatthey are made of crushed granite instead of the normal sand you find at most places.i found it a little easier to hit out of them then sand. They have a very nice clubhouse for the 19th hole. we always finish the week off there when we come in with a bloody mary to salute annother year there and cant wait till we go back there again. http://golfwolfcreek.com/sites/courses/ ... page=31522 Check out the home page as it show diffrent views of the course. then click on views. Well taht all there is guys. I have slowed down and staying home for awhile. No more trips for awhie We sstay at the Eureka casino. They have all kinds of golf packages or if any one has any questions i can direct them to my buddy who organises our trip. If any of you guys from the back east or the midwest are looking to go someplace diffrent and kind of unique to play golf,Mesquite and St George,Utah is the palce to go. Your right hips i think i sound like one of those guys on the travel channel. Hope everyone enjoyed my recap. excuse the spelling mistakes please. Gary Gary

Great looking courses and the whole area is beautiful. The Bryce Canyon is on the to do list. But, sorry to say, your critic job is lost if you can't remember that hole number
