Stupid! It will just cause lots of retaliation to tourists to Mexico, and 44 more I'll be one of them. Hopefully the law enforcement people have more important things on their agenda than checking the papers of everyone that is well tanned and has a moustache...like me

The Libertarian in me wants to scream the brown skin is not probable cause. At the same time, the realist in me knows that we simply have to retake control of our borders and our immigration system. Such things ought to be the responsibility of the Federal Government, but we've long since abandoned that notion. And both major parties are guilty, for their own selfish / political reasons - a pox on both their houses! Also, it's entirely possible that the threatened boycotts of Arizona are more than compensated for by people who are willing to go there specifically because of the law. If Mexico wants to close their border to (or greatly hassle) Americans, let them. They need the US much more than we need them, although free and open borders (US & Canada, anyone) benefit all.

One of the city council here proposed a bill to stop doing business with Arizona. That probably won't get very far.
My granddaughter, almost 2, is taking her parents and grandmother, my ex, to Mazatlan on Saturday. I wonder if somehow I could arrange...

Having been down in the border region i support the Arizona law. The federal government is wrong on this one....and just about everything else. Just don't get me started.

It DOES offend my Libertarian sensibilities ; just like Duffer.......the lefties say we just want to stop people with brown skin. Most of the people doing the stopping are people with brown skin , fer cryin out loud. It has nothing to do with probable cause....it has everything to do with stemming the massive illegal flow of Swedish doctors from Mexico......of course they have brown skin !!!! Mazatlan is not Mexico. Mazatlan is Disneyland for well tanned people from places like Aspen and Seattle. The smiling Mexican bartender will tell you stories about his cousin Felipe and his rosary clutching wife and family , who just want to pick cucumbers 10 hours a day and contribute to America. None of these people are criminals ? None of them are terrorists from the middle east and elsewhere ? None of them are running drugs and engaging in other crimes.....mostly against brown-skinned people , by the way. They are all hardworking , barefoot , sombrero wearing field workers...get a clue.

You got me started.

Try Ciudad Jaurez on for size......Nogales... Nueveo Laredo... Tijuana ....Agua Prieta. Or worse Chicago , Illinois !!! OOPS ...Roy is from Chicago...isn't he ? Anyway ...i got weapons to load and there are some seventeen year old boys over to the highschool that need tazing. Amurica....love it or leave it ! or is it...WE WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU WOULD LEAVE IT . Something like that.

Gee, guess I will have to repack now  The flaminco boots will have to go too. The ex came and visited mom today, for the 2nd time, so maybe I will call off the bandido's for this trip.
