Howdy hey..........Habs took it to the Flyers last night. They were really moving the puck through the neutral zone and hounding the heck out of the Flyers all over the ice. Pronger made a few bad plays , but i thought it was the Flyers FORWARDS that played bad defensive hockey last night. You give those skill guys on the Canadiens some room to work and they will kill you. Good game.....had some snarl to it. I wouldn't start yapping in the frenchie talk JUST YET. The Flyers will come out hard for the next one. I'm fully aware of the Toronto/Montreal "thing" .....although not anywhere as intimately as a native Torontean ...Torontoite....Torontain...Toronto guy. Cournoyer and Keon.......wow ; two great names from the past ! Good game tonight . Go Blackhawks....i really don't have a "horse" in this race , but i guess i'm a Blackhawks fan right now. I have to admit , the Canadiens have won me over and i am pulling hard for them . I love hockey. JJ

Doctor JJ says .......drink heavily and dispense with the Nyquil . If you are going to drink something ; a nice Bushmills , or a glass of reasonably decent Porto beats the hades out of Nyquil. Nice weather Hips.......The Obama has called down the winds and roiled the seas ! He is displeased.........we must obey ! Good weather here. I must practice this evening after my alms to " He of the Mighty Ears and Giant Wife." Perfect outside right now. The siren song of golf whispers in my ear and those solemn promises of mundane chores , to MY giant wife , are evaporating in lurid dreams of a small white missile seeking it's target against a blue sky. YESSSSS ...MY PRECIOUS......I WILL PLAY. WORK...SCHMERK.

And speaking of small white missiles............
It's our 1st long w/e here in The Great White North and it's also a fireworks holiday - one of two. Son has bought an obscene amount of fireworks to put off on Sunday night for his 2-year old daughter. I mean, some of these might get him in trouble if US Homeland Security has managed to infiltrate our borders. There's enough explosive in my garage to - well, let's just not go there for now. Seriously - should be good entertainment for the family and the neighbours who care to look out their windows. If they do, we'll take up a collection for him. One of the little gems he bought cost $60 by itself! Oh to be young, living at home, and making good money in a skilled trade. Where did I go wrong pursuing a "professional" career as a systems analyst???? Have GREAT w/e everybody - Tele

That would either be Victoria Day ......or Burn Down the Neighbor's Barn Day. Two very important holidays in The Great White North ; they are observed around the same time of year to celebrate the end of the Winter season and settle disputes with neighbor's. Fireworks are common on this Monday , on or before May 24th , as are torchlight parades by men with lots of chest hair and boxes full of bottle rockets. Seriously ; sounds like , kind of , a Canadian version of July fourth. They call it something else in Quebec because ..........they just like to piss everybody else off any chance they get. Don't mean anything (bad) by poking fun at your holiday Chuck. It sounds like a great day and a really good time. May is a perfect time for such a day . I hope you guys had good weather and did NOT burn down the neighbor's ....anything.

Saturday night we had a fireworks display on a barge a couple miles away from here, lasted half an hour. We were lucky that it didn't wake granddaughter up. Supposedly some guy did it for his wifes birthday. Display wasn't high enough to see it from here though.

Senior PGA at Colorado Golf Club this week. Coore/Crenshaw design . Supposed to be a good course. I was going to take one of my many bimbii to the tournament , but i'm playing golf this weekend. I would always rather play golf than watch it , but i will watch some on the tube. Let me know what you guys think of the course if you get chance to watch the coverage.

Might find a few minutes to check it out. Still terrible weather, possible thunder storms in the area again. Hope my ankle heals by the time it clears.

We just had one of the most nasty cold and snowy/rainy Springs since......last year ! I blame Bush. The world was so much better before that clown took office. He brought thee rains ............The Obama must cast out the evil spirits that bring this foul weather. We really need a rain tax. Yeah....dat's da ticket.
