I got home and was absolutely POOPED!! LOL Made some dinner and just sat down to let you know how it went. The weather today was MUCH better. They had a LOT of rain there Saturday evening, and the course was soft, but well drained. The grounds crew had done a great job of getting the large tree limbs that had broken off during the storm. The temperature this morning was very cool with a light breeze and overcast. I didn't play all that well this morning, ballstriking-wise, but pitched, chipped and putted my way to hanging in there, winning the morning match in 23 holes!!  I finished my morning match with about 10 minutes to spare before my afternoon match tee time. :0) Alas, this afternoon's match will be my last. I lost 2 and 1. I'll admit I was pretty tired by the turn, and my legs started to go on about #14. I battled as hard as I could, played pretty well, but it just wasn't enough. The championship match will be held next Sunday (due to the weather delay on Saturday) but alas, I will not be in it.  I had a great time, feel good about how far I got. Thank all you guys for your kinds words and encouragement. I really appreciate it.

Thanks, guys! And you're right, those "second 18s" get harder all the time!! I think I'm sore this morning in places I didn't even know I had places!

Excellent effort out there GA. 36 holes in one day is tough for just about any golfer. You obviously played some great golf to advance so far in the tournament. Congrats.

On the other hand........you lost. Your loss has stained the honor of this great DB and i'm sure a few hundred hours of grueling practice will be in your future ...... if you have any pride left.  Just yankin your chain........nice going man.
