Well, I finally took the plunge and picked up the SG5 today at Golf Galaxy.
Had some coupons and advantage awards so got the price down to a more reasonable unreasonable level.
Looked at most of the units available and it seems the SkyCaddie was the most logical choice.

Maybe tomorrow morning I can find out if it works. :-}

I got to play today and I like the Skycaddie!!!!

I played a local course that I know pretty well and the distances seemed to be pretty accurate.
I think the scoring feature is broken. It counted way too many strokes. :-}

When I got mine, I got the iGolf Neo, not one of those big fancy ones like the SkyCaddie, I would check the 150 yard markers on my course and move them. Some were off as much as 10-15 yards! I assume they pull them up when mowing..... :o :o
