Did you just visit that new medical clinic near you :?:

Once they got the grounded oil tanker removed from the beach there, they lost their big tourist attraction 8-)

Are you implying something with that "medical clinic" crack ? :)

Those courses really do look nice though. How busy does it get at Bandon ? Does anyone know how many golfers they get ? I heard Pebble Beach is a crowded pain in the ass. I don't like to pay a lot of money and then stand and wait all day.

Wasn't a "crack" clinic I was refering to but a new "medical" treatment center though 8-) Got a craving for Cheetos?

I would think that with the walking, that would keep people moving there. They also don't have the infrastructure for a lot of stay and play people so that would limit how many were on the course.

I guess these hacks answer the question about how slow play it is there. I sure hpoe I don't get behind one of them if I go. Looked like he grounded his club before the 2nd shot.

I read an article on Bandon Doons in one those seat-pocket mags on the plane last year. There were lots of pictures and descriptions of the difficulty levels and conditions. Had me drooling and dreaming!

As to the guy in the bunker, guess nobody ever taught him how to (A) lay a S/W flat on it's back and swing lke a crazy-man and (B) when A fails, give up and hit it sideways/backwards.

Hope I get a chance to be near there someday - with my clubs in tow.

Cheers - Chuck

With the economy of that area, there is no reason for you to be close to there except to play there.

Hips to answer your question about slow play. i have found in my 3 times being there that there is no such thing. You move along quite nicely. There are some course marshalls out there to make sure of that but there not real overbearing like some courses i have been too. The pace of play is great. I played Bandon Dunes and Bandon Trails by myself which in itself was treat. I really enjoyed being out there taking in the course by myself.
