Yes, what a day, no golf until late, M's rained out. Anyone got an extra closer? Nothing to do but yard work. Supposed to really dump here starting tonight thru Monday. Lots of water balls on 17 since I started watching 20 minutes ago.

Looks like they found an answer to slow play...rain delays and players sprint to the next hole so they can finish their round.

I did not understand why the announcers had a problem with Poulter running ahead. I see no problem if the others in your group give the OK.

Exciting finish, Nice job KJ. I think the EPA wants to talk to several players about all the oil they leaked all over the back nine;-)

I agree Hips, that back nine looked like the gulf of mexico a year ago. it was one hell of an oil slick. Gmac, Glover, my guy Watney,Im sure there was more. I was hoping Goydos would get in the playoff and get a chance to atone for his playoff lose to Sergio a few years back. But KJ is Mr. steady. I have never seen anything get this guy rattled in all the times I have seen him. And he had his backers Choi"s Boys" rooting him on. Nice story on the GC on those guys. Toms had a lot of chances for birdie and just couldnt quite get it done when he needed to. But maybe he has come out of his golfing funk that he has been in the last few years. At any rate hail to the champ KJ Choi.

Very nice finish to this one. K.J. Choi was destined to win this time. Nice play from Toms down the stretch. That drive on 18 and the shot out of a freaking divot was clutch , but to make that putt.... WOW ! I'm a big Choi fan , so it was nice to see him win a big one. I have always thought he could win a major and , maybe , this win will propel him to a major win this year. Paul Goydos almost got there at the end. Really nice stuff from the older guys. Where were the young guys ? Maybe .....leaving putts short.....hitting the ball crooked......and not going for it out there. Granted ; hard to go for it on a Pete Dye course. Seems like you're always trying NOT to do something on his courses. Don't hit it over there ! Keep it right.....stay left...make sure you get it there ! Nick Watney seems to get a little too nervous on Sunday . Maybe he can turn that around. McDowell had one of those days. Hard course.....i like it....you can't just bomb it to death. That's the way Dye's courses play. Hit it right... there...off the tee.....or pay a price most of the time. Some holes can be a bit quirky , but always entertaining. Good tournament.

I was hoping Goydos would make the playoff too. Must have been our combined golf picking karma that jinxed him. Another oldie, DLIII had a pretty good week there too. Toms' wife is still a hottie and there was lots of nice eye candy in the crowd too. Be interesting to see if Toms can carry the momentum into this week. Maybe Sergio too, but he played well far from crowds and the limelight Sunday.

Goydos is a kick. He looks like a guy at the local muni who has a tough time breaking 100. He's one of those guys that looks funny in a hat. You can never tell what kind of game a guy has by his looks. Sometimes by his equipment , but even that is not a good clue at times. " Sunshine"......perfect handle. Noticed the attractive women in the gallery. Even rolled it back a few times to check it out. Must be Spring.

Nice a couple years ago when he wore the Long Beach college hat when he didn't have a hat sponsor. Interesting to see some of the lesser known players as their wardrobe changes when they are on the leaderboard. Goydos has the right attitude for the game;-)
