Well who does everyone like to win this week at the Players? In no particular order I like Adam Scott, his game is getting real close. Can Lucas Glover back up his win last week? When he is hitting on all 8 cylinders he is tough. Bubba Watson i think will be in the hunt. The annoucers said this course doesnt favor any type of golfer. Would love to see Tommy Two Gloves make another good showing although this is his first time here. Im just glad he is doing real well on the tour. Lets see who else Tiger? hmmmmmmm. Like i said in previous post the jury is still out on him. Dont know what effect the latest injuries will have on his game. Dont know if he will be 100%. I got to go with our local guy Nick Watney. i think he can rise to the occasion here and play well. Dustin Johnson might be in the mix. He is way over do. to win. Last but not least Phil Mickelson. You just never know when he is going to show up and play really good golf. Ok gang who am i missing as possiable winners of this so called 5th major tournement?

Adam Scott and Bill Haas are the two who will be battling it out on Sunday afternoon.
I think Tiger was telling the truth in that he has not hit golf balls since the Master;s. +5 after 6 holes.

Make that a WD for WOODS. Makes me wonder if this will screw up the entire year.

How about Nick Watney. Glad to see he got off to a good start. He can be a streaky player so hopefually this is the start of one. TW, I dont know what to think of him with this wd. Could it be possiably the beggining of the end of his golf carreer especailly if he has more surgery. Time will time if he can come back or not. The talking heads at GC seem to think he should take a year off and get fully healed. Who knows what the answer is but he cant keep going the way he has been going since his world came crumbling down a year and half ago. Glad to see mark Omera shoot a good round.Lets see if the course gets firm and hard over the weekend and get some wind. That will definely separate the boys from the men. Gary

Did anyone see all those guys with walkie talkies escorting Tiger to the parking lot ? " Roger....he's in the restroom....zipping up now...coming your way." " Roger that......we got him on this end.....blowing his nose right now...moving towards the door...you guys have him out there ? " "That would be a roger ....over...." Sheesh....the lengths some guys will go to , not to sign an autograph. They also showed them riding on the back of his golf cart like he was JFK in Dallas. " We got a fat guy and a little kid up here looking for an autograph ! " " Roger that....use the taser if have to.....we just can't have that today." I watched him get in the Mercedes......he levered right in there off that left knee , no problem. I can't get in my wife's sedan with a torn right meniscus with that kind of verve....must not be too bad if he can do that. The guy is a drama queen now , with his ridiculous entourage , and that little swing guy jabbering at him incessantly. That little fucker is ruining him....he can't even get over the ball fer cryin out loud ! "Fire the swing coaches.....cut the entourage down.....get rid of Stevie.....hire me to caddy for you......play like you did when you came out.........over."

FREAKING rain delay. I hate rain delays. Raining here too.....must go out and practice......very cool and rainy.....guess i'll suck it up and go do a little short game work. I got a new ( slightly used) putter....Cleveland Classic 2.........practiced with it yesterday a bit. Like butter ....heavy head compared to my 20 year old Wilson 8813.....much better on putts inside 10 feet...the ones i miss all the time. The grip is a bit small for my liking...but i will give it a chance before i replace it. McDowell always finds his game when he's not on my team......bastard ! :0)
