Sure, If Michelle Wie becomes consistent and fulfills her potential or Paula Creamer gets back on track to her form of two years ago. Even Morgan Pressel and a few others. These women can all become the next American women's LPGA superstar. I hope so. But I think the next sure thing is Alexis Thompson. She has the game, has been brought up through the amateur ranks the correct way and most of all is not high on the media spotlight. For whatever reason, it could be the current lack of interest in ladies golf or whatever, the media is leaving this kid alone and I couldn't be more thankful. This girl is the one. IMO

Alexis Thompson is apparently following the path that another American,Stacy Lewis, has taken.Stacy has stayed under the radar of the media attention and has had a pretty solid year up to this point. They don't seem to interview her much, and maybe that is the reason she is playing so well...She doesn't have to worry about the other stuff that comes with stardom, such as how she looks or sounds in front of the camera.
