Right there........I remember when I was young and just starting to play Golf with my featherie and hickory shaft clubs...........that I really did not like Jack coming out and beating Arnie at all, and for years did not like Nicklaus. As I grew older and maybe a little wiser, I realized what Jack was doing and like today with Tiger, began to think I was lucky to see it.
Arnie is great, and did a lot for the game and Jack would not have been as sucessful without Arnie.

Arnie is great, and did a lot for the game and Jack would not have been as sucessful without Arnie. I agree that Arnie & Jack were something to see and also watch make history. Just seems like some of the things Arnie has done for golf are forgot by most. Dont get me wrong, Jack made a name and it has been a treat to watch "Both". Just wish Arnie would get a little more credit for what he has done !!! And yes indeed, to be able to watch all 3 in our life,, what more could ya ask for !!!

There were others in that first boom era that made it enjoyable too. Watson, Kite, Trevino(?). Charles and others made every outing a real contest.
