Is it me or does it seem that whenever Tiger has a pretty good round going and is climbing the leaderboard, he bogies 17 and/or 18 and sort of kills he momentum going into the next round?

Its not you for sure,,, !! Seems this has troubled him since he has came back. The 17th and 18th on several courses have hurt him badly.

They talked about his troubles "finishing" off rounds on the telecasts yesterday. TGC home page also has an article that he is no longer feared like he once was..........I am afraid that is a mistake!

I agree that is's not a mistake to not fear him. He will get this "little" thing worked out and will be going on a run soon enough.

Tiger must be a guest on this forum and read this thread. He sure shut me up. You have to admit, when he bogied 16 you were thinking "Here he goes again, another meltdown"

Tiger just went from the "US Open favorite because he is Tiger, but is not on his game" to the "definite US Open favorite were if he loses it will be a shock"

I didn't even realize I was being prophetic.
Holy Cow, what a finish. It's like he wound himself up with the bogey on 16 and he just ate 17 and 18.
That iron shot on 18 was just sick, never left the flagstick.
It was funny, Furyk told the reporters to quit pissing Tiger off. Cause every time they do he goes out with something to prove and usually does it.
