I agree. It's not in the man's makeup to come back unless he thinks there's a chance he can win. Yeah, he's been kidding and saying he doesn't know what's going to happen when he make that first contact - BULL-ONY - I'll bet he knows what's going to happen or he wouldn't tee it up.

I see they found a guy i've never heard of to play Tiger in the first match.

Brendan Jones ; fresh off his win in the Vanuatu Open will face Tiger Woods in the Accenture Matchplay Tournament this week. When asked about their son's upcoming match with the great Tiger Woods his father said "We didn't know Brendan was playing golf , but we hope he does well."

Woods ; coming off the worst knee problem in history , was surprised to hear he would be going up against the great Brendan Jones in his first match. " That Vanuatu course is mostly underwater , so Jones must be a fellow waterwalker. He should be a handfull ."

Jones will have his hands full against the world's number one , but is said to have an ace in the hole , with his reported hiring of Jeff Gillooly. The former "kneecapper" for Tonya Harding will "come in handy down the stretch against a guy like Tiger" ...Jones said from his home in Australia......more on this story later.

Seriously.......i have never heard of Brendan Jones. I assume he has won several important tournaments to get a slot in the Matchplay..........maybe on that tough New Guinea circuit ??? Can you imagine if he actually BEATS Tiger ? The knee will REALLY get some coverage , if that happens.......doubtful though.

Just forty eight hours ....six minutes ....and twenty one seconds until Tiger tees off.........I'M SO EXCITED !!!!!!!!

Damn................until you said that.................it never dawned on me that Golf is getting just like WWF wrestling...........normally when a guy makes a comeback they put him up against nobodies so that he can win :shock:

What's next cage matches or battle-royals?????? :lol:
