Bridgestone 330 Golf Ball

Bridgestone 330 Golf Ball

New postby FunGolfer on September 18th, 2008, 8:08 pm

Is anyone using this, I believe it is the one that is "supposed" to be for amateur swing speeds. I saw an ad and am thinking of trying them out.

As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.

I use to play the ProV and switched over to this ball about 2 years ago. At this time I wouldn't play anything else. !!! The Bridgestone B330 is a perfect fit for me, gained a little distance and I love the soft feel and bite around the greens. !!!

I would suggest giving them a try !!!!!!

Sounds good, I thought it was fairly new, maybe it slipped by me as I am pretty well stocked up on balls and don't look for them often. I don't get a lot of bite around the greens, but some. I have played the Wilson 50/50 ball and liked it, probably close to that.

Don't be surprised at the price !!!!! :D :D

They also make the B330S, this one to me is a little harder IMO. Doesn't bite as well, nor do you get the little spin needed.

The B330-RX is the new one for slower swing speeds. The B330-S is the one that's been out for a while now.

I tried the B330-S earlier this year and it felt a bit mushy to me.

I normally play the NXT Tour. The B330-S feels like a ProV1 to me.
I like the feel of the ProV1X better, just a bit firmer feel.
I like the price of the NXT Tour a whole lot better :-}

Agreed, the NXT Tour, not a bad ball at all, I went to the Wilson I-Wound, but it has been discontinued. I can still find them every now and then, but figured I had better start looking at a few others.

That's the one I saw on the ad, made for amateur swing speeds. I have played the E-5 and E-6.
