Harry Kalas dead at 73

Harry Kalas dead at 73

New postby JJBECK72 on April 13th, 2009, 2:03 pm

Harry Kalas was the voice of the Philadelphia Phillies and NFL Films for many years. I grew up a Phillies fan and his voice is always nostalgic to my ears. One of the true greats in broadcasting , he was well liked and very close to Phillies players and coaches over the years.

Jon Kruk could barely speak when interviewed today about Harry. He will be missed by Phillies fans everywhere.

I didn't have the pleasure of listening to him regularly.
But, I can feel for the fans and the voice they loved.
