Just wanted to stop in and say hey. This place looks like a ghost town still. Everyone must be on vacation. Hips did you work the senior tournament in Sahallee? I golfed this last saturday on fairly new golf course on a indian reservation. good front nine back nine fell apart. Is anybody out there? Roy , JJ seems to have lost his way. lol cobra i just dont know i hope he is still with us. Headed for the cali coast for a few days with family and grandson. Im only going to be 3 hours from Bandon but dont think ill get up this time maybe in october after the wife has some surgery on her knee. well thats about it till i get back . Hope everyone is doing good and staying healthy. Hopefully some people will come out of the wood work and post on here while im gone.

Put in 8 days at the main hotel's transportation desk. Made several trips to the course...in the tournament cars Now resting up for the Boeing Classic in 19 days.

dammn Hips you got the life buddy. Im thinking of volenteering for the US Open in 2012 in San Francisco. I got to find out how to go about doing that . hips any suggestions? Roy i havent ben home long enough to post everyday . I just got back from a family vacation on the coast of california and now im headed for the mountains to play some mountain golf. But after the end of this coming week ill be at home for a little bit so will try to post something everyday. ill try to do better Roy I promise.

As for volunteering. If the website is already created or when it is in the near future, there should be links and information on how to volunteer. I would get that information sent to them the earlier the better. If it is like most PGA tourneys and and US opens, it will cost you money to volunteer. When I volunteered at Olympia Fields in 2003 (I think), it cost me $180.00 out of my pocket, but well worth it.

As Roy said, it is on their web site. Believe it was $150 for the senior open. Shirts wern't nearly as nice as those we get from Boeing Classic, but got two extra so they knew who to blame for being a shiftcaptain. One was real nice. Have to inventory the cars for Boeing on tuesday.

I have a good, bad excuse for not being here the last week. My mom died about this time last Sunday. Pretty wierd after she recovered from a broken hip at 95. She was with my sisters and probably went within 10 minutes from pneumonia complications. She had a nice full life.

Very sorry to hear about your Mom, my prayers are out for you and your family.

I've had a couple of relatives who died at an older age when they went into the hospital for one thing and got pneumonia while at the hospital, with the complications ending up finishing them off.

She had been out of the hospital and rehab center for over a month, that was wierd about it. Thanks for the thoughts.
