Well, first week of the playoffs are in the book, and time to put on your Captains hat, who would you pick, and if you feel the urge, why?
My Picks would be:
1. JB Holmes, a Homeboy from Kentucky that can take advantage of the course. 2. DJ Trahan, continue the youth movement. 3. Woody Austin, even though he missed the cut, he has demonstrated that he can rise to the occasion. 4. Rocco Mediate, a bit of a risk, but will fit the team very well. Not more of a risk than Austin, though.
I think these four guys could fill out the team very well and mix with the starting eight pretty good. Hopefully, they could bring home the bacon.

I would go with: Stricker Trahan Mediate Holmes Adds some youth and some experience to calm down the youth. This weekend I heard DLIII mentioned to fulfill the role of clamer also but don't see that happening.

If Stricker had come back stronger on Sunday, I would have gone with him as I do like him. If he plays well in Boston, nothing is cast in stone as of yet, BUT he does need a stong showing.

I'd for sure pick Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey, pair him with Furyk on the frist day. The Euros would be looking at each other like, WTF is that? We'd win easily.

I'd take the eight guys that made it on points, divide them up in twos, by standing, 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5, have them put their heads together and ask them to write one name down that they feel would complement each of their games, no matter which one as paired with him, and also would mesh well with the team, take those four names and make my team, no matter where they stood in the standings, nor who they were.
